Book Nook

I made this book nook cushion and pillows about 3 years ago for a gal in Illinois. It is an antique youth bed frame. She purchased a 5" piece of foam to be covered. I put a huge 60" zipper in the back so it would be easy to get the cover on and off. She has a really angelic home and this was a nice addition to the reading room.

Amy the GGG...Good Witch

Amy played the part of Ga Linda the Good Witch in her school play. The dress was a one of kind with sequins going in every direction. We decided to donate it to the school because they do this play every year and they needed it.

Ok, I'm blogging today.

Here's life for the past...um, year. Cody & Amy are playing tennis, Shelley and Amy were in a show called "Curtains", and I sewed away, and I also did some bridesmaid dresses. I'm sure there were other things I did and I just might tell you about it tomorrow.

Here's the past month in whirlwind...

We weren't busy enough, so we decided to move. Actually, it's been one year to the month that we put our home up for sale in IL. Now, one year later, we are moved in and are soooo happy to be getting settled. I know, the cactus has got to go. The girls were in the musical "Thoroughly Modern Millie" and had a great time. I helped with the costumes. It was a cast of 72 youth ages 8-18. There were 7 performances.

Shelley played the roll of Dorothy Parker and Millie spills a drink on her dress, tries to clean it with soy sauce and Shelley has a huge scream off stage. Shreeeeek!

Well, that's all we've been up to. Not much.

The Morning After

The next morning we woke up early and attened a special Spoken Word in the Conference Center. It was special because they had a full orchestra and had all the Christmas decor still up. This was a special treat to sit so close and watch the rehearsal and live recording of the Tabernacle Choir. At the end, they sang "God Be With You Till We Meet Again" and in additon to the choir, the orchestra members and conductor turned and faced the audience and sang. It was so neat!
The age requirement to attend is 8 and so poor Ben and Uncle Bishop had to sit in some room with no sound until the end.

A Night On The Town

We hit the town on Dec 27th to go with Nonna, Aunts & Uncles & cousins to see the SLC Temple lights. We had dinner, rode the metro, walked around beautiful Temple Square, and stayed the night at a hotel in SLC. Thanks to Nonna for the great night on the town.

Christmas Eve in Castle Valley

I'm feeling bad that I haven't posted anything for a while. Here's a bit.

Christmas Eve we hung our stockings up at Grandma and Grandpa Williams house in Castle Valley. It turned out to be a beautiful white Christmas and it was so much fun to be with Grandma and Grandpa for this holliday.
