Gift bags

Birthday parties are a plenty, so I made these gift bags and put a $5 Cold Stone Creamery gift card inside. Super cheap, and they can use the bag for a purse or a scripture case.

YMCA 5K Race

Great day for a race, just a little chilly.
I enjoy running the races at the local YMCA. I was number 451
Time: 31:42
Place: 15th for my age category. 90th place for the whole race. 35th place for women.
These are a couple of friends that totally past me up. Lindsay, #471 got 3rd place in her age category. Way to go Lindsay with a time of 27:50! And it was Kim's first race and her time was 29:44 She was awesome! She placed 10th for her age and 24th for the women.

My best sewing projects

I realized that I hadn't posted my very best work....my Shellbell, Code Man, and Mini Zo. This is a picture taken in the Sacred Grove. I love em!
We love to travel and see the sights, so here we are on a small 3 year trip to St. Louis. We will be home soon.

Hope Chest Cushions

This is one of the cushions I made to go on top of the Hope Chests for the two girls with the blessing dresses. There was extra material so I made a couple of pillows for their beds. Their room is blue and brown. What a great gift this will be from their mom.

I made these two blessing dresses from an old Wedding dress that had been damaged by water. The mom is giving these dresses to her two daughters to put in their hope chest.
