Melodie Window Seats

These are the long awaited 4" window seats. They are 6' long. We haggled down the price to be $70 I think. Maybe $75. That works out to be $17-18 a yard. That is a steal! Green velvet-like and cream silk duponi with a floral print.

Zebra Purse

Zebra chenille, silky something, crushed black velvet, black taffeta, and hot pink corduroy. I love this purse!

Birthday Purse

Amy is going to a Birthday Party for a 12 year old girl, so I made t his for zero dollars from my scraps of material. I did not have a pattern, I just cut out a large U shape extra wide and then put in 5 three inch pleats at the top. That made it gather together like a skirt at the top. It is reversible and has one pocket that is split down the middle. The handles have a little pink trim. Next time I would add more of that trim to other places.

Jesus Wants Me For a Sunbeam

These are the 3rd set of Primary chair covers I have made over the years. Sunbeams....oh, Sunbeams!~

So, I print out the letters on the computer, cut them out with the interfacing and material. Then iron them on the blue material. Then zig zag tightly around the letters. Elastic is optional. I like it because it hangs onto the chair a little more.

Bell Curtains

The Family room and kitchen flow into each other, so they have the same swoopy bell curtain. These are made of taffeta with a crazy chenille tassel trim. Different for the kitchen.

TP Holder

Everyone needs one of these to hang in their bathroom!

Front Room Curtains

I finally got the front room curtains finished and hung. They are French pleated panels made from pin tucked taffeta. I put a flannel interlining in them to give them more body. Taffeta likes interlining.
The front window was left without a curtain. I'm still deciding because it is ...umm, not sure yet.
